This past semester I took Analysis of Argumentation and we learned about what an argumentation is and how to identify one. It was interesting to learn how to identify arguments in media such as advertisements and commercials. I, however, wanted to test the boundaries of how far an argument could go. I identified arguments in poems, in movies, and more. But what I didn't realize was an argument could even be in a interview. Which gives an interview a whole new perspective and insight for someone who has a interview coming up.
Even more interesting is the aspect of believing a lie, which if someone is charming and convincing enough they could ease through a interview with only lies. I'm not sure if this considered an unreasonable argument or not. I am a little confused on the concept of an unreasonable argument. I understand the concept of why people advance them and the point of it but what exactly is an unreasonable argument? I hope that someone can help me understand that.
Thank you!
